Razor has introduced a budget scooter which they claim is capable of carrying riders of all sizes at top speeds of up to 12mph thanks to its high performance, belt driven electric motor.  The E200 sports a comfortable cushion seat and two 8″ wide pneumatic tires to improve the comfort and riding experience on this scooter.  The seat and post are both removable is the rider chooses to stand up instead. 

Razor has given the E200 adjustable handlebars which can be raised or lowered to the level the rider feels most comfortable with.  Additional features include a variable speed acceleration, twist grip throttle, and also a rechargeable battery that is said to provide 45 minutes of run time per charge.

 We were able to find almost 200 reviews for the Razor E200 & E200S electric scooter, and roughly 90% of these consumers reported being satisfied with this scooter.   People who purchased this scooter seemed to mostly use it for short runs to a friends, and many people reported purchasing this scooter for their kids as well.  People were commenting on the adjustable handlebars and overall design of the scooter stating it was very sturdy with a strong frame.  Another feature that consumers seemed to enjoy are the pneumatic tires which provide a comfortable ride.  One buyer stated they used this scooter to travel to work (3 miles) each day in under 30 minutes.

There were a few common complaints we noticed with the E200 as well.  The biggest complaint seemed to be that the batteries would die earlier than expected or would not hold a charge well.  In a couple cases consumers had their batteries replaced by razor because of this.   The other thing we noticed was that there seemed to be some discrepency on rider weight.  While the ad suggests rider of all sizes, apparently the instruction manual states up to 154lbs max according to one buyer.

Due to this and the fact that this is a budget scooter we are giving the Razor E200 Electric Scooter our Seal of Approval for riders 150lbs and under.  We strongly advise riders above 150lbs look into a higher wattage scooter.
